SKAdNetwork Conversion
Choose your SDK version below:
- Apptrove SDK → Recommended for all projects (v2.x.x)
- Trackier SDK → Will be deprecated in August 2026 (v1.x.xx)
This guide covers the Apptrove SDK, where SKAdNetwork registration and conversion updates are fully automatic (bridges to the native apptrove-ios-sdk v2.0.7+ on iOS).
SKAdNetwork (SKAN) is Apple's privacy-focused attribution framework for iOS 14.5+ apps. As of the versions above, conversion values are computed and reported to Apple automatically by the native SDK — the Expo/React Native layer no longer exposes a manual updatePostbackConversion call.
Implementation
Step 1: Add the report endpoint (Info.plist)
<key>NSAdvertisingAttributionReportEndpoint</key>
<string>https://apptrovesn.com</string>
That is the only app-side change required for SKAdNetwork.
Step 2: Configure SKAN in the dashboard
In the Apptrove dashboard:
- Open your iOS app's SKAdNetwork / conversion value settings
- Define fine conversion values (
0–63) and coarse values (low/medium/high) as needed - Map them to your events and revenue rules
Once configured, Apptrove registers SKAdNetwork on init and updates Apple's conversion value automatically after every session/event — no SDK call is required in your JS code.
Prerequisites
- iOS 14.5 or later
- Apptrove Expo SDK v2.0.8+
- SKAN mapping configured in the Apptrove dashboard
Troubleshooting
Conversion values not updating
- Confirm
NSAdvertisingAttributionReportEndpointis set tohttps://apptrovesn.com - Confirm you are on SDK v2.0.8+
- Confirm SKAN mapping is configured and active in the dashboard
- Confirm your app is sending sessions and events successfully
